The filtration bag is constructed from 500gsm aramid filter felt, featuring a needle felt construction. It has an aramid fibre and scrim composition, with a felt area weight of 500g/m² (±5%). The thickness ranges from 1.9-2.1mm, and it offers a mean air permeability of 14-16 m³/m²/min at 12.7mmH2O. The breaking strength is 900 N/5cm in the MD (warp) direction and 1300 N/5cm in the CMD (weft) direction, with breaking elongations of 20% and 39%, respectively. It operates effectively at temperatures below 204°C, with a recommended maximum continuous temperature of 230°C and a maximum surge temperature of 230°C. The bag is finished with heat setting, singeing, and calendaring processes.
